... Self Doubt...

It took me 10 years after becoming a quilt piecer to develop my very own style.
Several years ago (5) i went to an art show at the Museum of Fine Arts @ the U of U, starring
quilts .
At this very same time i saw a PBS special on "THE QUILTS OF GEE'S BEND"
Oh MyGoodness.......( my direction changed).
*
i found myself drawn to abstact quilts.
(you really can do anything you want with your quilt)
i got comfortable in my own skin with my style.
ps, i still love traditional quilts!!!
*
Here in lies the riddle...... i. never. get. a. chance. to. piece. . (now that i finally have my own style)
*
Long story short
i don't want it to take 10 years for me to find my own style with this quilting thing
long story short
*
***self doubt***
maybe i'm about to embark on growing pains.
*
PS i hate growing pains
if you are a fan of growing pains click here. (just kidding)
time to go load another quilt... then go get new eye glassess ( to give me a brighter outlook)

I have been there from the start! You are truly a work of art yourself! Everytime i see you, visit with you, think of you another layer of wonderful mystery is reveled! Your quilting is like that, the more you look the more you see! I am genuinely in awe of you! Claudia
