Courageous Seven
Another post with no picture. In a few weeks i will post the picture of this incredible quilt.
*
For the past 2 days i have been working on the most amazing quilt for Claudia Crump. The quilt is for a special dedication of a bronze statue for the town of Panguitch, in conjunction with the Quilt Walk Festival
In true "Claudia fashion" she has created a work of art worthy of a memorial dedication.
i can't wait to show you.
Check out her blogspot she may post it before it is unvailed at the Festival.

i had a bit of a set back last week (life is like that). For those awaiting completion of quilts, i'm picking myself up... dusting me off.... and i will get going again.

Miracle at HMQS
Sometimes things happen just the way you dream they would , purely by accident, luck, or a sweet little blessing... (sweet little blessing is the right answer)
I wrote previously about how excited i was that i found a way to take just one class at the Home Machine Quilters Show (HMQS)
I pretty much randomly chose a class, at the last minute (i did study the "schedule of classes" book, a bit)

Well let me scream it from the roof tops... Sue Patten, read my mind and touched on EVERYTHING . I. NEEDED. TO. KNOW.
Hallelujah, Wonder of Wonders
i have been feeling more and more comfortable with my long arm everyday since.
So, 1week later and i'm thinkin' she taught me how to work smarter.
Not an easy task... since i am an "old dog"

Let's Do Purples
Gorgeous, and i love this pattern. This is another gift from Diane H, to one of her friends. It's great to see that Diane has fallen in love with quilting... (again)
the pattern is Purple Pandemonium by Konda Luckau

Scouting Advancement
Karen's son is getting his Eagle Scout Award. A quilt to document that event is such a great idea. His quilt is so cute and i just love the variety of nice scouting fabrics that are available now . The fabric on back is adorable .
