Every Quilt Has A Story

The story behind this quilt is heart wrenching. My daughter-in-law (Kristalee) volunteered to piece this quilt for a grieving mommy who lost a baby boy at 18 months. Kristalee was able to cut many of his baby clothes into small squares and make pinwheels. It was very emotional for everyone involved( making this quilt). It was an honor for me to be able to quilt this one.

Arizona Trail

It's Quilted,,, (just lightly) Marlaine pieced this quilt for her husband. The quarter circles that make the stunning design are dimensional. When i quilted it i didn't want to interrupt that design with stitching, so i used "stitch in the ditch" method on the body of the quilt.

Texture Magic (is fun to do)

(it sure does add a nice touch to baby quilts, and babies love texture) Susan and Leslie are quilting buddies and have become big fans of "Texture Magic".
