Making the decision to have a child is momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body. ~Elizabeth Stone Miss Starbright, with her new baby brother, she got to pick him up in San Jose, Ca.

Levi and Kristalee are Trying To Adopt

This is my youngest son Levi with his darling wife Kristalee and their adorable daughter.

They want to add to their family, through adoption, so very much. Their home is filled with so much love and goodness. Incredible aromas because Kris is a great cook, a young neighborhood with children playing everywhere . Friends and family dropping by all the time for their "game night " each Friday that sometimes carries over to Saturday night. They love to have good wholesome fun, and are blessed to be able to enrich their lives through travel experiences. Mostly they love the beauty that Utah has to offer (hiking , 4 wheeling , boating ,camping, skiing) Oh, almost forgot, they make many pilgramages to Disneyland every year, cuz mom and dad are kids at heart.

PS Kristalee is a quilter , and so blessed to be a stay at home mom.

I'm putting the word out , " *if you know of anyone who needs a loving home for a baby , and is considering the adoption process*" please keep this family in mind.

Every Quilt Has A Story

The story behind this quilt is heart wrenching. My daughter-in-law (Kristalee) volunteered to piece this quilt for a grieving mommy who lost a baby boy at 18 months. Kristalee was able to cut many of his baby clothes into small squares and make pinwheels. It was very emotional for everyone involved( making this quilt). It was an honor for me to be able to quilt this one.

Arizona Trail

It's Quilted,,, (just lightly) Marlaine pieced this quilt for her husband. The quarter circles that make the stunning design are dimensional. When i quilted it i didn't want to interrupt that design with stitching, so i used "stitch in the ditch" method on the body of the quilt.

i need photogrphy classes. Leslie is such an adorable girl and i missed her cute face. She has gone to many baby showers this year. All boys, but what a great boy quilt she has been able to duplicate. Lucky baby, minkee on the back.

Buggy Barn Crazy Cats

i have been back form the Quilt Walk Festival for over a week and still have not posted my accomplishments. i had a great time attending the trunk shows , the classes, the vendor mall and the scenic area's around Panguitch. Best part the company and friends.

Buggy barn does not come easy for me but the finished product "Crazy Cats" is so cute and wonky . i have drowled over that pattern for years.... One Way - or - Another

Marcia pieced this quilt so her daughter Melinda can have a change of color anytime she wants. She can either have a red quilt with gray trim or a gray quilt with red trim. It is very elegant either way. i love the contemporary look of this one.

Mothers Day - 2011 The rest of my family came later in the day, for a Mothers Day visit.

By then it was a deluge of rain.

Not likely i will be able to get their families in the tulips.

Marcia found a fabric line using coffee as the theme, then pieced this fun king sized quilt.
( i sure like how compatible the reds and browns are in this quilt) . Looks good with greens and blues too.

Francie's Table Cover Quilt

This quilt looks so fantastic on Francie's dining room table. She has a dark redish wall opposite the table and the combination is beath taking and fun. I love quilts used as tablecloths

Julia's 90th

Let the good times roll Cheryl's former mother-in-law is turning 90, so Cheryl put together a photo quilt.

Check out Julia when she was 80, doing a mule trip to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. Next to that she appears to be in a swim suit contest at about the same age. What a fun lady Julia must be. Yip, that's her on the motorcycle and the snowmobile too. Wild thing.

(i love the placement of these photos, they look more circlular than flat and boxey)
