My hummingbirds left today , i just know it. They are delightful visitors.. I of course will hang the feeder for many weeks to come , hoping that they really haven't gone.

I am still slammed with quilts (wedding quilts). Maybe after the popular wedding date of 09-09-09 and i get caught up, i will work on my blog, and make it a real blog. 08-30-09

Mama's Boy

This is a crib sized quilt I (Amy) pieced for my baby boy last year, it is from a pattern called mama's boy.

I Just have to show off a little of the detail in the quilting - a sheep! My mom, Shari, also put his name in it, twice!!!

Boy Oh! Boy

This is a quilt my mom made for my sweet baby boy last winter. We love this little quilt, it is the perfect size for throwing down on the floor for tummy time etc.. It also has minky on the back so it is super soft!

Sunday Sampler

Amy here, for those of you who may not know me I'm Shari's daughter

Just showing off a little quilt my mom pieced and quilted for my little girl last year. I asked her to make my daughter a special quilt that would be of "comfort" to her. As you can see she really outdid herself. All the white squares are embroidered with President Hinckley's "Be's"

if you would like a better look at the quilting just double click on the photos!!!

My Passion

Two years ago (2007) I began my journey into the home based business of long-arm quilting. The learning curve is long. I am developing confidence in what I can do and would like to keep track of some of the beautiful quilts that cross my path. I love fabric , texture , color, motion and the medium of quilts can incorporate it all. So hopefully I can capture and share some of the fun and fulfilling work I get to do almost everyday.
